Admission Criteria and Scoring System

1. Academic record. The evaluation of the academic record and the grade point average will be based on its relevance to the Psychology degree. It accounts for 35.71% of the total.

2. Postgraduate training. Postgraduate studies and the grade point average obtained will be assessed based on their relevance to postgraduate studies in the field of Psychology. This accounts for 14.29% of the total score.

3. Curriculum vitae. Professional experience, research experience, and teaching experience will be valued. It has a weight of 14.29% of the total.

4. Affiliation through a Scholarship or Contract with the University of Granada or with one of the other collaborating institutions. This accounts for 14.29% of the total.

5. Knowledge of English. Candidates must demonstrate a B2 level or equivalent. This requirement accounts for 7.14% of the total score.

6. Submit a letter of support from a professor in the program who is available to serve as the thesis advisor and director or co-director. This support is essential for the evaluation of applications and accounts for 7.14% of the total score.

7. Personal interview with the program coordinator. The student's motivation and personal commitment to the Doctoral Program will be assessed. This interview accounts for 7.14% of the total grade.

Admission to the program requires a minimum score of 5 points. The admission criteria are the same for both full-time and part-time students. Part-time students must provide justification for their commitment in the application.

A prerequisite for admission to the Psychology program is completion of 12 ECTS credits of research in a postgraduate program.
