Information for students prior to registration

The University of Granada boasts a comprehensive website (http://www.ugr.es/) through which a prospective student can find all the information needed to plan their studies.

The website reflects the structure of the University and provides links to the Vice-rectorates that organize university management:

  • The Vice-rectorate for Students and Employability (http://ve.ugr.es/) likely has the most direct relationship with future students. It offers all the information related to registration, accommodation, scholarships, information points, associations, etc. The main page of this Vice-rectorate has a specific banner dedicated to prospective students, with pre-university information and other contents such as: educational offerings and access (for Spanish and foreign students, both from the European Union and non-EU countries), opportunities, services, and information about university life at the UGR.
  • The Vice-rectorate for Internationalization (http://internacional.ugr.es/) organizes and manages student exchanges between universities worldwide.
  • The Vice-rectorate for University Outreach (http://veucd.ugr.es/) facilitates the rapid and natural integration of students into the cultural life of the University, the city of Granada, and all those national and international activities in which the UGR is involved.
  • The Vice-rectorates for Teaching (http://docencia.ugr.es/), Research and Transfer (http://investigacion.ugr.es/), and Teaching and Research Staff (http://vicepdi.ugr.es/) where students can find direct and updated information about the academic structure of the university as well as its research lines and projects.
  • The Vice-rectorate for Responsibility, Social Equality, and Inclusion (http://viceresponsabilidad.ugr.es/).

Additionally, the UGR website contains the offer of university teachings (http://www.ugr.es/pages/estudios), organized both alphabetically and by Centers, providing comprehensive information about the current study plans.

Specifically regarding registration, the UGR announces the opening of the registration period through various means: its own website and media (print, radio, and television).

To further disseminate information, the UGR Future Student Guide, published annually by the Vice-rectorate for Students, condenses all the information necessary for new admissions.
