Cristóbal Lozano

Cristóbal Lozano: (Licenciatura Universidad de Granada; MA University of Hertfordshire; PhD University of Essex) is currently Associate Professor of English Applied Linguistics at the Universidad de Granada .

He has worked and researched in several universities (Hertfordshire, Essex, Autónoma de Madrid, Castilla la Mancha, Pennsylvania State University) and has taught in a number of universities in Spain and abroad.

His main research interest is adult late bilingualism: how people acquire the morphosyntax of their second language (L2). He is currently the Principal Investigator (PI) of the ANACOR research project, which investigates the acquisition of anaphora and reference in L2 Spanish and L2 English by using corpus methods and (psycho)linguistic approaches.

Cristóbal directs CEDEL2 (Corpus de Español como L2) since 2006.
